德教十大纲旨

『孝』 恭尊父母 顺承亲意
            养尽其乐 祭尽其礼

『悌』 敬重兄长 亲如手足
            兄友弟恭 荣辱相关

『忠』 竭诚尽力 事有负责
            坚志贯彻 正直无私

『信』 诚实真意 言行相顾
            履约善后 保持永恒

『礼』 规矩准绳 举止温良
            纲纪遵施 以维正风

『义』 公正合宜 财取有道
            交友顾爱 助人至诚

『廉』 清白莫贪 操守高洁
            生活严肃 憸可养廉

『耻』 情欲羞辱 真切觉悟
            安份守己 戒生妄念

『仁』 博爱无私 民胞物与
            冈伤生灵 宜体天心

『智』 聪明达理 奋发自励
            明辨是非 知所适从

徳教六大戒律

第一、「不欺」:说话要诚实,不颠倒黑白,不播弄是非

第二、「不伪」:行为要端正,不以假乱真,不存心骗人。

第三、「不贪」:不要贪得无厌,见利忘义。

第四、「不妄」:不要狂妄,为非作歹,要安分守己。

第五、「不骄」:不要骄傲。

第六、「不怠」:做事要努力,不要懒惰。

THE TENETS OF VIRTUE IN CONFUCIANISM

Filial Piety (孝): Respect and honor parents, follow their wishes, bring them joy, and perform rituals for them with sincerity.

Brotherly Respect (悌): Respect older siblings like parents, treat younger siblings with kindness, and share in each other’s successes and failures.

Loyalty (忠): Dedicate oneself wholeheartedly, take responsibility for one’s actions, remain steadfast in one’s principles, and act with integrity.

Trustworthiness (信): Be honest in speech and deed, fulfill promises, rectify mistakes, and maintain eternal trustworthiness.

Propriety (礼): Adhere to etiquette and proper behavior, show kindness, uphold rules and regulations, and promote righteousness.

Righteousness (义): Act with fairness and integrity in wealth acquisition, cherish friendships, love others, and sincerely assist others.

Integrity (廉): Be incorruptible, maintain high moral standards, lead a serious life, and cultivate honesty.

Sense of Shame (耻): Feel ashamed of immoral behavior, awaken to reality, behave modestly, and guard against impure thoughts.

Benevolence (仁): Love others selflessly, treat all living beings with kindness, avoid harming others, and align with the will of heaven.

Wisdom (智): Be intelligent and rational, strive for self-improvement, and exert oneself diligently.

THE SIX PRECEPTS OF MORAL EDUCATION

No Deception (不欺): Be honest in your speech, don’t distort the truth, and avoid stirring up disputes.

No Hypocrisy (不伪): Act with integrity, do not confuse the genuine with the fake, and do not have the intention to deceive.

No Greed (不贪): Do not be greedy or insatiable, and do not forget principles in pursuit of profit.

No Conceitment (不妄): Do not be arrogant or engage in wrongful acts; instead, be content and abide by the rules.

No Arrogance (不骄): Do not be arrogant.

No Laziness (不怠): Work diligently and avoid laziness.
